Apprentice Photo Diary – Matt.

As it has been National Apprenticeship Week (NAW2016) we thought we would ask Matt, one of our apprentices in production, what his day is like at Technoprint.

 

Matt joined Technoprint in June 2015. He is currently training to become a fold machine operator.

08.00 – We have uniforms and safety shoes both to protect us and also to ensure that there is no contamination from outside into the factory.

Apprentice Photo Diary – Chloe.

As it is National Apprenticeship Week (#NAW2016) we thought we’d ask Chloe our office apprentice what her average day is like.

Chloe started as an office-based apprentice at Technoprint at the end of June 2015.

08.30 – My first task of the day is to ensure that all jobs are in order and set my overall tasks for the day. I then prepare the jobs that are due to go into production that day.

Goodbye Chris!

Chris Ashworth our quality, pre-press and IT guru is sadly leaving us after 8 years. Chris joined the printing industry straight from school as an apprentice back in 1996. He came to Technoprint to manage the studio at a time when we were a design-lead commercial printer. Technoprint is almost unrecognisable now with our feet planted firmly in pharmaceutical print on lightweight papers. Chris’s natural design skills were still put to good use once the company started to concentrate on PS9000 leaflet work,

We’re searching for a Senior Pre-Press Operator/ Artworker. Our studio is expanding and we are looking for someone with industry-related experience to compliment the team. This is a full-time permanent position with an immediate start for the right candidate.
