Team technoprint, introducing Sam

minute read

Team Technoprint currently consists of over 25 members of staff.  Each and every person has a special role to play within the organisation.  Team work is key to our success.  With this in mind, we would like to introduce to you all, a member of staff each month.  Continuing our focus on our two most recent members of staff, we would like to introduce you to Sam, our new Sales Administrator.

Samantha Furmedge

Sam joins our sales team in a brand-new role.  As Sales Administrator, Sam works closely with Key Account Managers, Heidi and James to ensure customers’ orders and enquiries are processed efficiently.  Having taken customer enquiries, Sam will raise estimates and ensure the administration is completed as per the standard operating procedure.  Sam’s background isn’t sales related so for her to have hit the ground running and fit into the role and team so well is fantastic.

Sam has previously worked as a cook and a cleaner and more recently has worked as a production assistant at an embroidery company supplying school uniforms.  Sam was inspired to apply for the role having read through the job description and having done her research on the company.  Her first impression having attended her first interview was that it seemed a nice place to work.

Sam is enjoying learning the different elements of her role and as it’s a new position, she has an influence on shaping this role as she becomes more proficient.  She has enjoyed meeting the staff and has commented on how nice everyone is.  It can be daunting starting a new job, learning a new role and getting to know people but she has found it better than she expected.

Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with her friends and young family and enjoys the odd night out and going to bingo.  In addition to starting a new job, Sam has the added pressure of planning her wedding.  She is getting married to her long term partner of 17 years in June.

Sam is most proud of being a mum to her two children and passing her driving test. With regards to long term ambitions, Sam would like to gain a qualification which she hopes to do with Technoprint by undertaking an apprenticeship framework with the British Federation in Printing (BPIF) later this year.

We are delighted to have Sam join our team.  She has fitted into the team really well and we wish her many happy years at Technoprint.
