Neil Gair

Lithographic Machine Operator (Printing Operator)

Neil joined Technoprint in 2006 as Offset Lithographic Machine Operator having moved to Cheshire from Hampshire.  Neil has been in the print industry since 1983 and is the company’s senior printer.

Neil oversees four printing presses and supervises four printers, of which three are apprentices.  Neil says that the best thing about working at Technoprint is the job satisfaction that he gets from mentoring and passing his knowledge onto new printers and watching them develop their own skills.

Neil also co-leads the KPI project team who are responsible for identifying efficiencies specifically relating to our productivity levels.

Neil’s interests include watching his favourite football team, Manchester United; motor sport and tasting real ale.  His is very valued by his colleagues and has received employee of the month recognition twice since it was introduced in May 2017.
